Nate's first day of school

An excited, if nervous, little boy attended his first day of 'big school' last Wednesday. He is really enjoying it.

Cape Town

We had a wonderful time in Cape Town. We played on the beach, we swam in the sea, we went walking including up Table Mountain (the helicopter wasn't for us!), shopped, ate, and relaxed. We also had lots of fun with our friends, Mike, Jen, Olivia and Silas who visited us for a week. A much needed rest after a busy 2010. Lovely memories.

Big School

At 6 1/2 Nate starts 'big school' in January so his pre-school organised a modern day Christmas play, in which Nate was a tourist, and a graduation ceremony.

Emily turns 9!

Birthday celebrations on and around 5th November for Emily. 9? We're surely not old enough to have a 9 year old daughter!
